My name is Erin Doherty and I am a Legal Assistant with Laws & Beyond. I’ve worked as a LegalAssistant in the areas of family, civil litigation, real-estate, employment, corporate/commercial and taxfor 3 years and counting. Prior to becoming a legal assistant, I completed a Bachelors and Post-GraduateDegrees in Social Work from the University of Calgary. I pursued a decade long career in Social Workdoing community based, inclusive client support.
My specialties are in complex files, firm administration and has a particular interest in corporateplanning work. I enjoy taking on challenging projects that push my knowledge base and provideopportunities to learn new skills. Although currently a legal assistant, I plan on furthering my career inlaw, with the goal of attending law school. In my spare time, I am kept busy by my kids, family, faithcommunity and hobbies such as my philodendron collection and video gaming.
