As a lawyer with life and legal experience, I focus on serving and meeting the needs of my clients and helping them with their journey towards resolving their legal matters. I prefer to take a practical and realistic approach. To achieve the most timely and cost-effective results, and to preserve relationships that will need to continue, the process starts with negotiation and mediation, and then, if necessary, then proceeds to litigation. At that point, I am comfortable with representing clients at all levels of Court within the Province of Alberta.

My focus over the past few years has been on family law and wills and estates, including estate litigation, as these areas of the law affect the lives of my clients more than any other.

I also have a background, and an interest in helping small businesses. My practice includes assisting with private corporate matters such as incorporations, shareholder agreements, reviewing franchise agreements for franchisees, and at times, litigation related to shareholder disputes and franchise agreements, as well as borrowing, and related real estate matters, including reviewing and revising lease agreements.I joined Laws & Beyond as I share the core values of the firm to provide clients with the best value in the Calgary area, through hard work, outmost honesty and integrity.

To relax, I enjoy spending time with my family, going for long walks, preferably in nature, and swimming. In my time away from my law practice, I also like to review and study updates and better approaches to the areas of law I practice in.
